Alan Feuerbacher’s Writings Now Available Here

Alan Feuerbacher (1952-2022) had been a good friend to Barbara for most of their lives. Barbara knew him from her congregation (and neighborhood) well before she and Joe were at Bethel, and they continued to be great friends for many years after — until Alan died March 21, 2022, at the age of 70. His name is well-known for all the excellent and careful research he produced about Watchtower doctrine and policy. Those who have gone online to read about JWs can hardly have missed his presence. On forums where he participated, he could be fun or feisty. He had an excellent sense of humor, a sharp wit, but rarely pulled punches when challenged.

Alan could share a breadth and depth of knowledge on most any subject. Whether In person or on the phone, he was always kind, helpful, and jovial. A bit different from the more serious, pull-no-punches persona he kept up online.

Most of his writings were already organized in a few places online, in addition to articles or interviews he contributed to a wide array of sites, including watchtowerdocuments.org. For archival purposes, we have already moved most of his writings here, and will continue to keep them available on this site.
