A Former Jehovah’s Witness Insider Who Was an Eyewitness to Deceit
Barbara Anderson was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses from 1954 to 1997. She worked at Watchtower’s headquarters in Brooklyn, New York from 1982 to 1992. During her last three years there she researched the movement’s official history (published in 1993). Besides doing other research, she also wrote a number of articles for their Awake! magazine. Barbara has done extensive research on issues related to child sexual abuse within the religion leading to interviews on major TV and radio programs. She is recognized as an outspoken critic of Jehovah’s Witnesses sexual abuse policies.

In 2002, Robert Bryant, former highly respected JW elder, murdered his four children and his wife and then killed himself. Why would this wonderful family man do this terrible thing? What drove him to do it?
Investigative reporters interviewed many people (including Barbara) to try to answer these questions. Barbara appears several times during this program to provide background and explain Watchtower beliefs that could have contributed to this and other tragedies.

AUSTRALIAN COURT PROVIDES STREAMING VIDEO COVERAGE OF CHILD ABUSE INVESTIGATION
Below are videos covering the events and testimony starting from the first day of hearings by the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. The investigative meetings began on July 27, 2015, and will continue until August 6.
